With Labor day just a week away, suddenly it feels like fall is approaching. School has begun, cooler temperatures have finally arrived, swimming pools are closing, and the locusts have started singing. Before long the grills will be put away, and “oven season” will be upon us.

I thought it would be fun to look back over the summers’ posts and revisit what you readers found as the most interesting stories, kind of like a Casey Kasem count down. So since it is Meatless Monday, we will start with vegetarian dishes.
